Responsibilities
Collaborate with a versatile team to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical components
Integrate electromechanical components and systems to the fusion generator's primary structure
Design and fabricate fixtures to aid in the assembly of electromechanical components
Coach technicians, developing their technical skills
Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the entire production process
Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 20lbs
Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports to accomplish our goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician focused on rapid prototyping and iteration
Experience operating heavy-duty machinery (forklift, boom/scissor lift, bridge crane, etc.) and using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.)
Experience with high-voltage systems or vacuum systems
Experience designing parts/fixtures in CAD software
