The individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of general liability litigation matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with remote flexibility and occasional travel to the Philadelphia office as needed.

Responsibilities

Handle a wide range of general liability litigation matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations/trials
Make occasional visits to the Philadelphia office for client meetings, trial prep, etc
Travel for court hearings and arbitrations in PA and NJ

Qualification

Juris Doctor (J.D.)Active bar membershipGeneral liability experienceEmployment law experienceDrafting pleadingsResearch skillsAnalytical skillsWriting skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Be an active member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars; required
Have two to five years of experience, preferably defending general liability claims
Have prior employment law experience; required
Have experience drafting pleadings, answering written discovery, taking depositions and participating in arbitrations/trials
Have excellent academic credentials as well as strong research, writing, organization, and analytical skills
Be willing to make occasional visits to the Philadelphia office, as needed, for client meetings, trial prep, etc
Be willing and able to travel for court hearings and arbitrations in PA and NJ
