MRI Technologist PRN
HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate care and is currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist on a PRN basis. The role involves providing magnetic resonance imaging services, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment
Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material
Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologist
Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care
Qualification
Required
Valid American Registry or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Associate's degree
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, clerical skills
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
