Responsibilities

You will develop, coordinate, and approve Echelon II level Information Management (IM)/Information Technology (IT) governance policy plans, processes and organizational structure
You will coordinate and manage the documentation of IT processes, instructions, policies and guidance
You will write IT specifications for compliance with regulatory procurement processes and procedures
You will plan work/projects to be accomplished by non-supervisory subordinates
You will define and oversee the implementation of systems and methods to collect, measure productivity (effectiveness and efficiency) of the IMO organization

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code PROGRAM MANAGER, 801, proficiency level INTERMEDIATE
The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing Information Technology (IT) processes, instructions, policies, etc., to ensure compliance with higher level requirements; 2) Ensuring compliance with the Privacy Act and tracking/reporting all initiatives and spillages; 3) Advising customers on information systems policy, procedures and standards to ensure compliance; 4) Communicating with commands to ensure functional requirements satisfy user needs; 5) Briefing senior leaders on state-of-the-art IT development to communicate impacts on operations
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving
