Responsibilities
Build vibrant and encouraging relationships with members
Lead clients to invest in an ongoing relationship
Make financial concepts easy to understand
Research complex issues to develop innovative strategies
Demonstrate masterful verbal and written communication skills
Multi-task and take detailed notes
Work a varied schedule from Monday to Friday between 4:00 am and 7:00 pm PT, with availability to work one weekend a month
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in consumer finance or tax work (mortgages, insurance, college planning, financial aid, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax structuring and planning, etc.)
AFC, CFP, ChFC certifications (required)
4-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Proven track record persuading clients to engage in value-added services and solutions
Motivational skills to inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
Superlative listening skills that lead you to empathy and understanding
A high level of comfort with computers, software, and technology
An openness to a culture of continuous development
A passion for helping people in need
Due to the nature of the contract we are hiring for, U.S. Citizenship is required for this specific role
Ability to travel on occasion may be required
Preferred
Previous military experience or experience supporting military service members
