Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of language interpretation activities on an assigned and as-needed basis for Los Angeles Superior Court and for persons doing business with the courts
Perform duties as an interpreter for courtroom and other legal proceedings, which may include, but are not limited to: arraignments, preliminary hearing, pre-trial conference and court trials
Qualification
Required
Certified as a Court Interpreter in a designated language in Los Angeles County by the Judicial Council of California
Registered as a Court Interpreter in a non-designated language in Los Angeles County by the Judicial Council of California
