The Vice President of Power Supply Origination will assist in the origination of data center development opportunities and power supply, negotiate supply agreements, and ensure compliance with ERCOT requirements.

Responsibilities

Become a subject matter expert on the requirements of power supply for data center campuses
Negotiate supply agreements with retail suppliers, power marketers, or generation asset owners
Originate new data center development opportunities

Qualification

Power supply agreementsERCOT requirementsRenewable PPAsProject financeReal estate developmentAnalytical skillsIndependent decision-makingProblem-solving skills

Required

At least three years of experience originating renewable or thermal PPAs, retail agreements, or credit facilities
Experience dealing with Retail Electricity Providers (REPs), power marketers, or renewable power marketers
Ability to work independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desire to own issues and see them through to resolution
Experience negotiating retail and/or wholesale power supply agreements
Experience with utility, municipality, and ERCOT requirements for Large Loads
Experience with real estate development

Preferred

Direct, recent experience within the ERCOT market negotiating long term supply agreements
Experience negotiating credit agreements or project finance agreements
Experience with gas supply or power equipment supply
