Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Director, Portfolio Management and Business Development / Valuation. This role is responsible for financial analyses for new business opportunities and managing a portfolio of joint venture and equity investments, including valuation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the design and implementation of standardized fair market value analyses in support of new business ventures, physician contracts and M&A activities within the regulated healthcare industry

Leads financial and operational reporting for Sentara’s portfolio of joint venture and equity investments

Leads technical and valuation analysis for potential new business and physician contract opportunities

Supports the Care Delivery Strategy Team in the development and management of business planning processes including vetting, goal setting, and financial evaluation

Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial feasibility studies, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
