Responsibilities
Write construction scope of work, equipment purchase specifications and data sheets
Perform all aspects of electrical analyses including system modeling, fault current, load flow, protective device coordination, motor starting, and arc flash using software systems
Design medium-voltage protective relaying systems
Develop drawings including one-line diagrams, area classifications plans & details, grounding & routing plans, installation details, and wiring schematics & diagrams
Develop and execute equipment testing procedures including interpretation of relay logic diagrams, electrical schematics and protective relay programs
Complete technical reviews of all project work product to ensure it conforms to industry codes, client standards, and MSB quality standards
Establish and maintain clear channel of frequent communication with the client and address any questions or concerns related to projects
Provide project status updates including budget and schedule to team and clients
Work with Department Manager and Team Leads to identify resource expectations and project progress
Support and foster professional development of department staff through mentoring, continuing education and training
Participate in technical societies and associations representing MSB
Experience in project scope development, estimating and execution
Qualification
Required
Manage, plan, direct, lead, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters and meet both client and M S Benbow & Associates quality requirements
Leads greenfield and brownfield project design and supports development with a team of engineers, designers and drafters to complete electrical installation drawing packages for high-, medium- and low- voltage systems

10+ years engineering experience in technical field and with industries similar to company client base (petrochemical, refining, midstream and marine industries)
Professional Engineer License (PE) in Louisiana
Commissioning and/or Factory Acceptance Testing
