Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture and design of the UC solution, including cloud-based calling platforms
Conduct detailed assessments of existing CUCM environments, infrastructure, and call flows
Develop core project documentation including the Migration Design Document (MDD), dial plan strategy, and integration guides
Design solutions for E911 compliance, gateway configurations, and third-party system integrations (e.g., emergency alert systems)
Oversee and review work by the engineering team to ensure technical consistency, scalability, and adherence to best practices
Provide expert guidance on complex scenarios, including call routing, multi-site deployments, and system interoperability
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align technology strategy with organizational needs
Support migration planning, testing, and deployment activities

Required

12+ years of experience in Unified Communications, with deep expertise in Cisco collaboration technologies
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Collaboration or equivalent high-level certification
Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale CUCM and Webex Calling or other cloud collaboration platforms
Strong knowledge of CUBE gateways, SIP trunking, E911 solutions, and dial plan architecture
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and provide architectural direction throughout the project lifecycle
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-complexity environments

Preferred

Experience with public sector or regulated enterprise environments
Familiarity with emergency notification systems such as Informacast Fusion
Knowledge of hybrid collaboration models integrating on-premise and cloud platforms
