Supervisory Continuous Process Improvement Analyst

Responsibilities
Serves as the Division Chief, Enterprise Capabilities and Processes
Enables and drives operational process and performance excellence for J6, aligning J6 enterprise processes and controls
... with DLA business processes and controls, business systems, IT portfolios, IT services, and evolving enterprise IT technologies through data relationships
Provides policy, guidance, and oversight functions in support of audit readiness, IT benchmarking and process improvement objectives established for the J6 organization
Responsible for the identification of any deficiencies that preclude J6 Information Operations ability
...to become and remain fully capable of receiving audit opinion and to initiate appropriate corrective actions to correct identified auditability impediments
Standardizes process improvement goals and practices across the DLA IT community using Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
...and DoD Enterprise Services Management Framework (DESMF) to provide enhanced, results-oriented business process performance
Participates in briefings, meetings, and advanced studies to inform J6 of audit conditions, analyze/interpret DLA Audit policies, procedures, and business practices
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) or competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position
To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement
Creditable specialized experience includes: Directs a staff performing highly technical and complex administrative work which involves the development of major aspects of highly technical, key agency administrative programs
Plans, coordinates and facilitates implementation of process improvement projects and costs through maintaining an organizational awareness of the broad agency process improvement effort and institutionalizing a culture of continuous process improvement
Develops and implements a systematic, robust, and standard process to benchmark, assess, and improve IT services
Ensures audit compliance through a sound and structured capability that documents the successful execution of general and application controls across the agency's IT environment
Completion of Supervisory Certification Program: Required
Supervisory Probation: Required
