Responsibilities
Support manufacturing by troubleshooting product failures in both manufacturing and customer sites
Physical analysis of defective electronic, electrical and mechanical components
Support introduction of new product, process or material by analysis of assemblies
Monitor manufacturing processes using analysis test vehicles
Operate a variety of lab equipment to complete analysis
Generate reports to summarize findings using Google Workspace platform
Assist in assessment and management of 3rd party services
Research material properties and specifications and application
Establish and document standard assessment practices
Evaluate and purchase equipment to upgrade or meet new requirements
Manage lab equipment maintenance and calibration
Manage control consumable materials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting failure analysis, rework or repair is preferred. Experience within a regulated industry is a plus
Hands-on experience in failure analysis of PCBAs, boards, or systems
Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to drive corrective actions
Intermediate Verbal and Written Communications Skills
Strong Analytical and statistical analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills
