Responsibilities

Configure Cisco 4351 gateways as Local Gateways to integrate with the cloud-based collaboration environment
Set up and manage SIP trunk connections, including cutover from legacy CUCM to cloud services
Perform network readiness assessments, including verification of QoS policies, multicast settings, and firewall rules
Simulate and test end-to-end call flows, particularly external calling and E911 routing scenarios
Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related network issues, ensuring high availability and call quality
Collaborate with UC engineers, architects, and project managers during planning, testing, and implementation phases
Support compliance-related configurations, including E911 solutions such as RedSky

Qualification

Cisco collaboration technologiesCCNP Collaboration certificationCisco CUBE SBCsIP networkingE911 complianceVoIP troubleshootingCloud-based UC migrationsIndependent work

Required

10–12 years of experience in network and voice engineering, with a focus on Cisco collaboration technologies
CCNP Collaboration certification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco CUBE SBCs, SIP trunks, and voice gateways
Strong background in IP networking, including QoS, multicast, routing protocols, and firewall rule management
Familiarity with E911 compliance, particularly using tools like RedSky
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for VoIP and network infrastructure
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Preferred

Experience in cloud-based UC migrations (e.g., Webex Calling, Teams, Zoom Phone, etc.)
Prior work in public sector, healthcare, or enterprise deployments involving voice infrastructure cutovers
Familiarity with network simulation tools and monitoring solutions
