Supervisory Auditor (Associate Executive Director)

Responsibilities
Serving and providing oversight over the agency's Headquarters Division Directors consisting of three headquarters divisions: Operations Division, System and Innovation Division, and the Professional Assurance Division
Overseeing all Program Administration and Mission Support related functions; serving as a senior analyst and advisor to the Executive Director in all matters that impact the strategic plan, mission/goals, and operations
Providing advice, creating, and evaluating proposals; providing recommendations and reports requiring the Executive Director's approval
Managing and overseeing plans to establish and maintain a strategic management process for the agency to execute critical mission operations
Strengthening accountability/integrity and promoting technology innovation to improve TRA Program efficiencies and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years
You may be required to pass a background investigation
CBP follows the DHS Drug-Free Workplace Plan for drug testing procedures
Financial Disclosure is required
A degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field with 24 semester hours in accounting
At least 4 years of experience in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level
Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position
Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements
Ability to operate a Government Owned Vehicle
Possess a valid, non-restricted driver's license
Complete mandatory training within the first 90 days of appointment
Successfully complete training requirement as a condition of employment
