Responsibilities

Exhibit strength understanding client’s business

Apply the understanding of the client’s business & systems implementation and translate the business requirements into technology solutions

Possess strong COBOL/DB2 skills and has experience designing complex system solutions

Apply knowledge of COBOL, Java, DB2, and JCL technologies to perform system impact analysis and prepare detailed system design deliverables

Demonstrates ability to collaborate with other team members to develop the solution

Ensures all requirements are addressed for each component in construction

Actively participates in design and documentation

Constructs, unit tests, and integration tests assigned components

Adhere to the software development life cycle processes including coordinating activities with clients, system interface partners, and other project teams including testers, architects, developers, and database administrators

Support production operations by researching production incidents, proposing and implementing corrective actions
