Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities
Proactively analyze existing customer book of business to uncover solution gaps, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and expand engagement across service pillars
Cultivate and expand your existing book of business and grow your portfolio by acquiring new customers
Conduct consultative selling to uncover opportunities spanning cloud, security, networking, communication and collaboration, and IT lifecycle services
Open and manage opportunities within iT1's solutions offerings and engage the Pre-Sales team
Daily utilization of CRM to manage portfolio of business, i.e., updating account information, opportunities, leads/prospects, tasks, customer payment, etc
Leverage marketing tools to prospect and develop your portfolio of business
Engage all necessary internal/external resources to conduct business, including vendor, partner, and distribution representatives
Manage the end-to-end quoting process and ensure timely submission of deal registrations to maximize vendor incentives and protect pipeline opportunities
Maintain a minimum of 80% attendance for partner/vendor trainings and webinars
Qualification
Required
Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and great work ethic

Industry Success: Proven track record of success in the Value Added Reseller (VAR) industry
IT Knowledge: Knowledge of various aspects of IT and how they interrelate
Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to facilitate and negotiate complex IT solutions
Client Communication: Comfort in speaking with senior-level clients
Self-Motivation: Self-motivation and excellent time management skills
Experience: 4+ years in IT sales or services
Preferred
Salesforce Familiarity: Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
