Responsibilities
Meet customer requirements for work quality and project completion timeliness
Build positive relationships with customers and team members
Present a professional image for the company
Protect company assets and mitigate risks
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times
Use Locator to capture data related to the drill head
Assist the drilling crew in all aspects of work which include potholing, setting of handholes, and other OSP equipment
Safely operate Vehicles, drilling, vactron, and various equipment related to OSP construction
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced personnel
Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for construction tasks
Submit required paperwork and documentation promptly
Maintain and care for company vehicles and equipment
Be available 24/7 during scheduled on-call rotation
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to PPE guidelines
Experience working as Horizontal Drilling locator
Ability to read, understand OSP maps and designs
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, equipment, and tools
Timely completion of required documentation and ability to upload documents using various electronic devices
Punctuality and a strong work ethic to ensure project timelines are met
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
Experience working as Horizontal Drilling locator
