Responsibilities

Lecture and Lab instruction for Diesel Technology courses
Provide Lab Safety Training
Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
Provide advisement to students
Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested

Qualification

Diesel Heavy Truck ExperienceCummins CertificationCaterpillar CertificationDetroit Engine CertificationIn Diesel TechnologiesComputer Classroom TechnologiesLearning Management SystemsAdvisement SkillsLab Safety TrainingDiverse Student Body Experience

Required

5 years of experience in the Diesel Heavy Truck/Equipment Industry

Preferred

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Diesel Technologies
Cummins/Caterpillar/Detroit Engine Certified
Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
Knowledge in Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
