Responsibilities

Market new business, determine coverages and premiums, prepare and present proposals to clients. Market coverages to carriers

Review and analyze existing client’s insurance needs on an annual basis with recommendations to purchase additional lines of products

Develop Centers of Influence for the purpose of establishing referrals

Develop a list of expiration dates to maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects

Perform outside inspections and proper underwriting as needed

Agent is encouraged to further their insurance career by seeking Professional designations and becoming involved in community activities

Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines

Assist claims CSRs in claims process as needed

Qualification

Required

College degree required

Highly motivated, organized and able to work in a fast paced environment

A strong attention to detail with a passion for providing quality customer service

Must be a self-starter with good communication skills, both verbal and written
