Credentialing Program Assistant
USAJOBS is seeking a Credentialing Program Assistant for the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. The incumbent will manage the credentialing program for individuals involved in VA-approved research studies, ensuring all necessary documentation and data management tasks are completed.

Responsibilities
Responsible to gather required documents used to formally appoint all R&D based WOCs and IPAs though Human Resources Management and Consulting Services (HRMACS) to complete the appointment process
Enters pertinent data in service level data base for tracking and documentation, keeps personnel records
Responsible for the management of domestic and international travel requests by Research Service employees
Responsible for processing PIV Card applications for all administrative staff and WOC applicants

Must be proficient in written and spoken English
Pre-employment physical examination/evaluation may be required
Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05
You must provide a copy of your last or most recent SF-50, 'Notification of Personnel Action' to indicate your current federal status. You must also submit additional SF-50(s) to clearly demonstrate one year time-in-grade as required in the announcement
You may qualify based on your experience as described below
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is defined as experience in completing and submitting documents and applications to credentialing entities and arranging travel itineraries for other employees and personnel
You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position: Administration and Management, Attention to Detail, Communications and Media, Information Management
