Sr. UX Designer(only W2/1099)
Snappyhires is seeking a Senior UX Designer with a focus on ADA compliance. The UX/ADA Specialist will conduct accessibility audits, develop remediation plans, and design user interfaces that are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
Conducting thorough audits of existing digital products or systems, identifying accessibility barriers and potential violations
Developing detailed plans to address identified accessibility issues, including specific technical fixes and design changes
Designing accessible user interfaces, ensuring usability for individuals with disabilities, while considering various assistive technologies
Performing testing and validation to ensure accessibility standards are met, using both automated tools and manual testing methods
Preparing clear and concise reports outlining audit findings, remediation plans, and progress updates
The UX/ADA Specialist will deliver reports, design documents, code changes, and training materials, as specified by NV DMV supervisors
Qualification
Required
Expertise in ADA compliance, including familiarity with WCAG guidelines and relevant legal frameworks
Expertise and knowledge of ADA compliance tools and utilities, such as Siteimprove Accessibility, Color Contrast Analyzer (CCA), ACTF, SortSite Desktop, and NVDA
Strong UX design skills, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing
Technical Skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DotNet ASP/ASPX, and experience with accessibility tools
