Project Architect/Architectural Project Manager

They are seeking a Project Architect/Manager to mentor staff, develop client relationships, and lead business development opportunities in various market sectors.

Design

Responsibilities

Create, manage and produce projects primarily for the booming advanced technology market sector. Additional market sectors with opportunities to support include: industrial, municipal, recreational, higher education, healthcare and other institutional and commercial clients
Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to our multi-disciplinary teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery
Mentor mid-level architectural staff
Participate in business development pursuits
Generate work and create long-term client relationships
Developing, reviewing, and approving proposals, reports and contract documents

Qualification

Registered ArchitectArchitectural designProject managementConstruction techniquesClient relationship developmentCross-discipline collaborationTeam-building skillsInterpersonal communicationLeadership skillsOrganization skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, required; Masters preferred, from a NAAB accredited university
Registered Architect in Arizona preferred, NCARB preferred
8-12 years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets
Detailed understanding of construction techniques and the development of final construction documents
Demonstrated experience developing project specifications
Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience

Preferred

Demonstrated experience with cross-discipline collaboration
Demonstrated design insight and leadership
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, team-building skills
Proven success in developing new clients and maintaining strong client relationships
