USAJOBS is seeking a Recreation Aid to join the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Honolulu, HI. The role involves providing customer service to patrons and performing various duties in support of the MWR community recreation program at the Hickam Arts & Crafts Center Woodcraft Shop.

Responsibilities

Employee is expected to use initiative in planning ahead and determining what needs to be done; take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks, the work area and facilities: put forth extra effort during busy periods or if special projects need to be completed. Employee is responsible for ensuring he/she understands their duties and responsibilities and to ask questions if clarification is needed and to keep the supervisor informed of any problems or difficulties encountered. Employee is expected to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with supervisor, subordinates and other employees in the activity. Must comply with safety requirements, maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards, comply with security procedures and report job injuries and hazards to supervisor immediately

Must operate vehicles in a safe manner
