Responsibilities
Responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Operations Division at a small/medium garrison
Provides sound leadership and supervision to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division
Directs, develops, and administers plans and procedures; implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business operations which meet the needs and interests of the military community
Reviews program priorities and develops five-year plan with Capitol Purchase Minor Construction and annual Operating Budget covering projected programs of division resources
Develops and/or recommends methods, operations, and programs to ensure profitable business activities

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one year probationary period may be required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation
Incumbent must file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with the requirements of AR 600-50
Required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, IAW DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 08/30/1993
The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required
Work experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Business Operations activities, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year
Preferred
Must have 3 years MWR Supervisory experience
Must have 3 years experience managing two or more MWR programs
Must have NAF budgeting and NAF CPMC (Capital Purchase Minor Construction)
Must have 1 year experience as a NAF Credit Card Billing Official

Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid of 8.64%, contingent upon eligibility.
