Responsibilities

Make final technical review of real estate appraisals prepared by journeyman staff appraisers and contract fee appraisers
Review and approve/disapprove fee and easement appraisals for acquisition and disposal for a wide variety of unimproved and improved real property for projects for which the appraised value does not exceed the delegated authority
Make the more complex type of appraisals involving properties which have special significance or unusual appraisal problems where controversial elements of value are involved
Prepare gross appraisal reports for planning studies and reports

Required

Must be a State Certified General Appraiser
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
One year of specialized experience which includes experience appraising a variety of real estate, including commercial, industrial, agricultural and rural properties; and, experience in reviewing and approving real estate appraisals to ensure well supported conclusions and provide written review reports

Benefits

Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances may be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest.
Additional incentives MAY be authorized.
