Responsibilities

Serves as a Program Manager for the Small Business Innovation Program (SBIP) responsible for developing, planning, executing

... managing, and transitioning DLA Research and Development (R and D) funded programs supporting DLA Supply Chains and DLA strategic goals and objectives

Responsible for developing short/long range plans, conducting analyses and R and D program initiatives

...within key cost, schedule, and performance parameters, measuring, and analyzing outcomes, and making recommendations and briefs to high level managers and officials

Coordinates with the DLA Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) and DLA Headquarter Directorates and consults with other Military Departments, Federal Departments

...and Agencies on R and D on strategies to adapt emerging technologies that supports DLA's goals and objectives

Serves as a Program Manager responsible and accountable for the full execution and transition of assigned Rand D programs, conducts routine management and in-process reviews, and provides leadership updates and status of programs

One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position

To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector

Completes all necessary budget documentation for planning, programming, budgeting, and execution cycles and defends programs at higher level review boards

Ensures the timely funded transitions of successful R&D projects and appropriate management controls are in place to reduce the risk of fraud, waste, abuse, and organizational conflicts of interest and provides appropriate documentation supporting auditability requirements of the agency

Reviews, analyzes, and performs complex studies of policies, including their functional and system implementation, and evaluates complex functional system requirements for the assigned area
