Responsibilities
Model the financial statement impact and economic benefits of the proposed transactions
Create presentation materials to brief internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate with internal functions to progress proposed transactions through the required governance and approvals processes
Liaise with external advisers and internal teams on the preparation, review, and execution of transaction documents
Work on the ongoing maintenance and risk management of transactions post-execution, including maintenance of the deal models and coordination with the Firm’s Finance and Accounting teams to monitor and report ongoing economic impact of transactions
Assist with structured secured funding initiatives, including external rating of AWM investments
Prepare periodic budgets and profit and loss reports for the team
Qualification
Required
Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
Ability to work on multiple tasks with a high attention to detail
2-3 years of financial services/accounting/tax experience that includes transaction execution
Familiarity with and interest in the tax, accounting, and regulatory capital aspects of transactions
Robust understanding of the components and applications of financial instruments
Strong problem solving, quantitative, and excel modelling skills
Must be able to work independently with minimum direct supervision
Excellent communication skills and demonstrable ability to articulate complex concepts to a range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong team player
