Prevention Psychologist

Responsibilities
Conducts psychological evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop treatment plans
Provides individual or group therapy sessions to patients to help them cope with emotional, behavioral or mental health issues
Develops and implements evidence-based psychological interventions for patients
Maintains accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Stays up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of psychology to provide the best possible care to patients
Qualification
Required
Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital
Graduate of an accredited university doctoral program in health service psychology including clinical, counseling, or school psychology
Completion of a pre-professional psychology internship program
Eligible for Psychology licensure in the State of Ohio
Preferred
Completion of a post-doctoral training or equivalent experience
Experience in health service psychology, or equivalent education
