FEC - Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

Plan, design, analyze, and test to ensure performance, reliability, and conformance to all applicable requirements, specifications, cost, and schedules
Plan, develop, and coordinate tasks for engineering projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross-functional team
Create and develop engineering project documentation as required
Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to final deployment onto the manufacturing floor
Investigate the latest engineering technology to continuously improve manufacturing processes
Mentor and lead other engineering professionals to provide role model professional engineering behavior
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined
Perform related duties or responsibilities, as assigned, or requested

Required

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree is a plus
5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, solid modeling, and FEA are required
High level of verbal and written communication skills along with interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Results-oriented with a willingness to take responsibility and initiative
Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, growth environment
Proven ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels
Excellent organizational, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
