Responsibilities

Engage with data governance, business, and technology stakeholders to understand requirements related to metadata, business glossaries, data stewardship, and data quality

Translate business needs into detailed Collibra user stories, functional requirements, and configuration specifications

Document current-state and future-state processes enabled by Collibra

Partner with Collibra platform manager to configure assets, workflows, and data models based on business requirements

Assist in managing the Collibra Operating Model, including domain structures, communities, and roles

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that platform capabilities meet functional requirements

Support onboarding of business users, stewards, and data owners onto the platform

Develop and deliver training, user guides, and process documentation

Act as a key point of contact for user questions, feedback, and enhancement requests

Ensure alignment of Collibra configuration to enterprise data governance policies, taxonomy, and metadata standards

Work with global governance teams to drive consistency across domains and regions

Support continuous improvement of Collibra capabilities through lessons learned and stakeholder feedback

Required

8+ years of experience as a business analyst in data governance, data management, or enterprise platforms

Hands-on experience working with or supporting Collibra (or similar metadata/data governance platforms)

Strong understanding of metadata management, business glossaries, data stewardship, and data quality concepts

Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to translate business needs into technical or tool-specific requirements

Preferred

Collibra Ranger or Steward certification is a plus

Experience with agile delivery, workflow design

Background in financial services or other regulated industries

Familiarity with other tools in the data ecosystem (e.g., data quality tools, data catalogs, lineage tools)
