They are looking for a seasoned Lead Civil Engineer to join their Reno office as a Project Manager, responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction while engaging in business development and client relationships.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction
Perform complicated calculations and comprehensive design services for a variety of complex civil engineering and site development projects with no oversight
Mentor junior staff and navigate local agency permitting and development standards
Engage with other senior team members/management in the office and throughout the company
Shape projects, influence team culture, and contribute to company-wide success
Qualification
Required
PE registration in Nevada, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
Minimum 8 years of experience, demonstrating a successful progression of responsibilities
Minimum bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited higher education institution
Three (3) professional references and examples of prior completed work product
Driving is an essential job function or a valid driver's license is required to support legitimate business purposes
Must be proficient with the usual office and site civil design software (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD)
Preparation of SD, DD and Construction Documents and permit applications
Project budgeting, scheduling, workflow, communications
Client management and communications
Preferred
Project Specifications experience is a bonus
QA/QC experience is a bonus
Proposal development is a bonus
