Vehicle Communication Data/Network Maintenance Instructor - Senior

The Vehicle Communication Data/Network Maintenance Instructor - Senior will be responsible for training and maintaining communications systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring the integrity of the COMSEC program.

Responsibilities

Possess the knowledge, skills, and attributes of: internetworking fundamentals, operations, configuration management, and execution of diagnostic tests and interpretation of results; removal and installation of major components; determination if the system/subsystem is malfunctioning; isolation and location of malfunctions in the Line Replaceable Units (LRU); replacement of defective LRU’s
Troubleshoot and repair system and subsystem malfunctions
Perform PMCS functions of the Mobile Modular Command and Control (C2) systems installed on the ACV C2
Train installation, operation, and troubleshooting of interoperable tactical and enterprise communication suites
Review and provide recommended changes to course curricula, lesson plans, student guides, and audio-visual aids in support of lesson material, examinations and is responsible for Deliver instruction incident events identified for the ACV FoV, and the associated training systems
Conduct PMCS, inspection, repair, and tasks
Maintain NETT COMSEC material allowances
Assist with training NETT staff in Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) procedures and best practices
Maintain the integrity of the COMSEC program and its subordinate accounts
Inventory control, technical data management, and exercise materiel control and custody management for communications equipment loaned to the NETT

Must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing the Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program (MCO 1500.52D), the Marine Corps Submerged Egress Training (SVET), and license and certification requirements of the specific Amphibious Combat Vehicle variant (i.e. Operator license, Maintainer certification, or Communicator certification of Communications suite on the ACV FoVs)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer-facing and internal oral and written communications skills
Excellent MS Office skills to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
Experience working in a Marine Corps Systems Command Program Office or similar organization
Positive attitude and understanding of the Marine Corps mission
Ability to function as part of an agile team when given broad direction
Possess a minimum of seven years' experience delivering instruction within a military training program
Perform service, repair, calibration, and adjustment of testing machines and equipment in accordance with electrical and electronic standards
Communicate updates regarding COMSEC policies and their implications to the NET Team (NETT)
Supervise and maintain material allowances related to NETT COMSEC
Provide training to NETT staff on KMI procedures and best practices
Uphold the integrity of the COMSEC program as well as all subordinate accounts
Oversee management of inventory, technical documentation, and custody of NETT communications equipment
