Manufacturing Engineer III
Sloan is the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, committed to sustainable restroom solutions. The Manufacturing Engineer III role focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for the company's electronic product lines.
Responsibilities
Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings
Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and/or quality problems
Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipment
Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes
Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques
Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes
Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering technology
8+ Years industry related experience with manufacturing technologies, methods, and assembly processes
Ability to collaborate with coworkers, shop personnel, and outside vendors
Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques
Strong analytical ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
