Responsibilities
Supervises and participates in the design, implementation, testing, improvement, and documentation of reports
Responsible for management of EIS capital and operating budgets as assigned
Provides strategic knowledge and management expertise to the Data & Analytics Delivery leadership group and overall EDI on report development capabilities in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R or SAS, etc
Scans, evaluates, selects, and integrates new technology solutions
Facilitates and maintains the efficient intake and governance of report requests
Facilitates, advises, and provides support to the customer/s in regards to their data requests, acts as point of escalation
Implements performance measurement system to track customer base, request complexity, resource utilization, and efficiency for both individual and team
Participates in multidisciplinary teams for requirements definition, vendor selection, and information systems implementation, testing, and support
Implements the CSHS technology architecture guidelines for technology infrastructure and application development
Participates in EIS informatics teaching, research, and publishing efforts
Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, managing schedules, personnel actions, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans
Supervises the day-to-day work of employees, assigns work, ensures tasks are completed and expectations are met
Qualification
Required
Five (5) plus year's of experience with information systems in a sophisticated multi-platform healthcare environment
SQL programming, Tableau dashboard development and administration experience with emphasis on visualization, efficiency, and automation required
Three (3) plus years of Management/Supervisor experience in a Healthcare IT team
Two (2) plus years of Epic report development experience
Physician Billing, Epic Tapestry, AP Claims, and Population Health experience highly desired
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Epic Certification (Clarity, Reporting, and/or RWB)
