Oxford Global Resources is seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer to design PCBs using Altium 365 and assist in building CAD libraries. The role involves laying out boards, migrating designs from older CAD packages, and ensuring adherence to design rules and templates.

Responsibilities

Design 7 PCB's using Altium 365 while building CAD libraries

Consultant will work back and forth between laying out boards and helping build up their CAD system and component libraries

Good practices exist but the consultant may amend and update them to improve the process

There will also be work to migrate design from older CAD packages like PADS

PCB layout of mixed analog and digital designs and line voltage traces

Multilayer board design

Generate & apply design rules and scripts, voltage maps, spacing, DRC checks

Create and manage templates & libraries

Developing & Migrating file-based libraries to Altium 365 as symbols, footprints, and standardized parameters

Generate output files for Manufacturing
