The role involves leading project design and development activities, selecting production hardware, and managing teams while interfacing with clients and vendors throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities

Lead the selection of production hardware for projects

Develop and validate RF designs using iBwave software

Review and approve construction drawings, including system block diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and conduit/cable routing drawings

Prepare and approve product specifications and related documentation

Write scope of work documents and equipment purchase specifications

Interface with the major wireless network operators and clients throughout the project life cycle

Review vendor data sheets to ensure compliance with project requirements

Lead and manage teams of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters

Highly skilled and experienced Wireless Communications Engineer

Strong background in telecommunications, particularly in In-Building Cellular and Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems

Lead the selection of production hardware for projects

Develop and validate RF designs using iBwave software

Review and approve construction drawings, including system block diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and conduit/cable routing drawings

Prepare and approve product specifications and related documentation

Write scope of work documents and equipment purchase specifications

Interface with the major wireless network operators and clients throughout the project life cycle

Review vendor data sheets to ensure compliance with project requirements

Lead and manage teams of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters

Exceptional collaboration, interpersonal, and client engagement skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven experience in RF design development and validation

Proficiency in iBwave software

Strong leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5-10 years of experience in wireless communications, with a focus on In-Building Cellular and Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems

Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast United States

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Preferred

Experience with Sweep, PIM and CW testing and system troubleshooting

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.)
