Part-Time Mental Health Provider (TalkNow) - Saturday & Sunday: (8pm–6am CST)

TimelyCare is a telehealth service dedicated to serving the higher education community. As a part-time TalkNow Provider, you will provide emotional support and crisis intervention to students and faculty, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and triage support (via phone, video, or chat) as needed for members using TalkNow services
Act as a primary mental health provider to support members with a person-centered, strengths-based approach
Collaborate with members to develop care plans, progress care, and conduct risk assessments as needed
Appropriately document sessions, assessments, and care plans in our electronic health record (EHR)
Adhere to established standards for clinical documentation quality, HIPAA/PHI, and telehealth regulations

Required

Completion of a Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required
Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or college counseling environment
Adherence to HIPAA and compliance standards, and all policies / procedures required for this role
Able to adapt to the needs of the members we serve
Able to use evidence-based modalities and active listening skills in order to build rapport and progress care
Able to remain calm and assess, triage, and document sessions with members who are potentially in crisis or are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation
Able to support members with professionalism, empathy, and an awareness of cultural humility
Valid U.S. work authorization
