Responsibilities

Plan the electrical installations and automation in the SCOUT Body Shop (Underbody)
Design electrical cabinets, power feeding systems, and related automation infrastructure
Create specifications for software functions and automation components
Ensure project objectives are achieved in terms of cost, schedule, and results
Drive standardization and contribute to the development of new concepts and services
Coordinate, plan, and execute tests during the commissioning phase
Support digital planning of electrical equipment for intelligent manufacturing plants
Manage digital projects from concept through handover of production facilities to operations
Collaborate on robotics, PLC, and hardware design in a fully automated production environment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent education and/or experience will be considered
Strong background in electrical design, including cabinet layout and power distribution systems. Experience in an automotive body shop environment is required
Interest in robotics, PLC programming, or hardware design within automated production environments
Familiarity with automation systems in automotive manufacturing; experience with VASS standards is a plus
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in automation
