Responsibilities

Build cutting-edge software, services, and frameworks to empower Network Development Engineers
Tackle all facets of network management—metric collection, configuration, zero-touch provisioning, monitoring, and auto-remediation
Drive automation-first solutions for xAI’s production and ancillary networks
Develop extensible tools and streamline complex processes
Ensure rock-solid reliability to support xAI’s mission of accelerating human scientific discovery through AI

Required

Strong communication skills
Hands-on experience in network management
Experience with metric collection, configuration, zero-touch provisioning, monitoring, and auto-remediation
Ability to develop extensible tools and streamline complex processes
Experience with IaC best practices and enhancing deployment pipelines
Robust knowledge of secure service delivery across production environments
Deep experience collaborating with network engineers
Extensive knowledge of network topologies and protocols
Expert knowledge in designing scalable and reliable software
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create metrics for prioritization

Preferred

Experience with Python
Experience with Go
Knowledge of TCP/IP
Knowledge of BGP
Knowledge of RDMA
