CT Technologist - Community East
Community Health Network is dedicated to providing exceptional care through advanced technology and community involvement. The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams and ensuring optimal patient care while effectively using medical imaging systems.

Responsibilities
Perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring
Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patients’ medical record
Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices
Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Utilize the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) effectively
Qualification
Required
Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring

Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
High School or GED required
Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Current ARRT (R)(CT) registry
Current license as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana. Must obtain ARRT (R)(CT) within one year of hire
