Robert Morris University is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their Center for Sales Excellence. In this role, you will support daily operations and strategic initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and customer success.

Responsibilities

Assist with event coordination (venue setup, catering, sponsor communication)

Design flyers, social graphics, and signage using Canva

Maintain and update HubSpot CRM with sponsor and event data

Post content and updates to the Center’s Instagram and LinkedIn pages

Track milestones and proactively remind directors of upcoming tasks or deadlines

Make outbound phone calls for various business-related needs (e.g., confirming event attendance, following up with sponsors, conducting outreach)

Create project plans for new initiatives with clear deliverables and follow-through

Collaborate with business and engineering students during competitions and events

Contribute to marketing campaigns, reports, and student recruitment efforts

Participate from time to time in cross-functional initiatives led by the Collaborative Learning Institute, under the direction of Dr. Jill Kurp

Be required to attend all Sales Center events as part of your employment (special exceptions may be discussed with your supervisor in advance)
