Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accurate bookkeeping in compliance with US GAAP accounting standards

Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and accruals, with the objective of ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records

Prepare financial statements and other accounting memos and disclosures to ensure compliance with key standards such as ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 842

Analyze financial reports to provide timely and insightful recommendations to Swan leadership

Partner closely with third parties to manage annual audits, filings, taxes, and other corporate accounting activities

Assist in the development and documentation of robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial reporting completeness and accuracy

Evaluate, design, and implement financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor with at least 5-10 years of professional accounting/audit experience in a public company setting

Big 4 or large national public accounting experience is required

Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in financial management software

Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment

Must be eligible to work in the US
