Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Manage a book of business
Understand clients’ insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure proper coverage
Review client accounts and handle renewals
Collaborate with underwriters and team members
Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Personal Lines insurance agency environment
High school diploma or equivalent
CT property & casualty experience, knowledge of insurance products, services, and regulations
Active CT property & casualty license
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Punctual, reliable, and organized
Possesses strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft products
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and writing skills, attention to detail
Ability to work independently and enjoy interactions with team members
Preferred
Experience with Vertafore products is a plus
