Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our web applications
Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible UI/UX
Architect, design, and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support the application
Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers
Mentor junior developers and share knowledge of best practices in both UI/UX and back-end development
Contribute to product strategy by offering insights based on technical feasibility and user experience considerations
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Ensure the reliability and performance of all components with rigorous testing
Continuously monitor and optimize performance, both for the front-end and back-end
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and code reviews
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Passion for user experience and design and a deep understanding of front-end architecture
Comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables
Motivated by delivering customer value
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember)
5+ years of experience with server-side web technologies (eg: Java, Python, Scala, Go)
Good knowledge of SQL
Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes
Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
