Creative Director, Influencer

They are seeking a bold and culturally fluent Creative Director, Influencer Content to lead the creative vision for influencer-driven storytelling, shaping how a major home improvement brand engages with audiences across creator-led platforms.

Responsibilities
Develop and Drive Creative Strategy
Translate brand priorities into compelling influencer campaign platforms that connect with core audiences and inspire action
Lead creative concepting for always-on and tentpole influencer initiatives, ensuring ideas are insight-driven, socially native, and platform-relevant
Continuously evolve influencer creative approach in alignment with broader marketing strategy and retail rhythms
Draw upon Omni creator data and Q cultural insights, to shape creative strategy and implementing storytelling through influencer media
Oversee the Creative Process
Own end-to-end creative development - from briefing and ideation through production and post
Guide cross-functional teams, including art direction, copywriting, and content production, to ensure creative excellence and brand consistency
Serve as the creative voice throughout internal and client-facing milestone presentations
Cross-Agency Integration & Influence
Ensure influencer content ladders up to holistic brand platforms and receives the same level of creative consideration and polish
Partner with brand and media AORs to champion influencer creative as a strategic channel within integrated campaigns
Act as a consultative partner in shaping how influencer shows up across omnichannel retail and marketing moments
Implement key findings from Omni learnings and Q insights into the development of influencer content strategies, driving culturally relevant and performance-optimized storytelling across influencer media channels
Content Governance & Quality Control
Establish and maintain clear creative guidelines tailored to influencer content while protecting brand integrity
Review and approve influencer creative, ensuring alignment with brand standards, tone of voice, and legal compliance
Maintain a constant pulse on the influencer landscape education via thought leadership communication, staying atop of shifts in the industry and emerging trends and be able to translate to client business
Innovate Through Activation
Concept and lead one-of-a-kind experiential or onsite activations rooted in influencer collaboration
Bring creative flair and strategic clarity to programs that drive buzz, content creation, and brand heat
Inform and elevate creative guidance through Omni, ensuring influencer storytelling resonates authentically with target audiences
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of creative experience, with 3+ years focused specifically on influencer, social, or digital-first creative
Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling across influencer platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Experience working within or across large integrated brand or agency teams
Proven track record of leading creative development across influencer activations - from scrappy to large-scale productions
Experience with onsite and/or experiential brand activations
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Deep understanding of cultural trends, creator economy, and audience behaviors across platforms
