Belvedere Trading is a leading proprietary trading firm headquartered in downtown Chicago, seeking Quantitative Trading Interns for the Winter Quarter 2026. The role involves hands-on rotations between trading desks, collaborating with Developers and Strategists, and participating in quantitative research to improve trading systems.

Responsibilities
Assist with analyzing daily trades and recapping significant trends
Rotate between product groups to gain a broad understanding and knowledge of the market and Belvedere’s trading strategies
Engage in daily collaborative strategy adjustments with your team to adapt to market dynamics
Participate in quantitative research and the application of quantitative strategies while learning concepts behind our core market-making operations
Analyze extensive datasets to extract insights that bolster our trading strategies
Benefit from our industry-leading BTU program, complemented by ongoing practical training within our trading operations, covering a spectrum from foundational knowledge to advanced proprietary concepts
Qualification
Required
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
Ability to live in Chicago and attend the internship fully in person during the winter quarter of 2026 (January - March)
Graduation date of December 2026 or later
Core development skills – You will need some training or a demonstrated ability to learn programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python
Communication – We need people who can speak confidently and concisely, especially when the stakes are high
Analytical – We're looking for quantitative thinkers and master problem-solvers with strong data analysis skills
Team Player – Trading and development are not isolated activities at Belvedere, so great candidates will have demonstrated success in working in team-based environments
Curious – We'll teach you everything you need to know, but we love working with people who ask questions and are eager to get involved
Compliance – For our trading positions and certain engineering roles, the SIE and Series 57 licenses are required; Belvedere Trading will provide comprehensive study materials and allocate dedicated time during the onboarding process to ensure your success in obtaining these certifications

Knowledge of the financial markets and trading industry is a plus but not a prerequisite
