Entry LevelElevator Services Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Shop/Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The role involves performing repairs and maintenance on shop machines and vehicles, adhering to safety practices, and maintaining logs of repairs.

Responsibilities
Assist Manager with basic repairs and maintenance on shop machines
Perform basic shop vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacement, etc
Adhere to all company safety practices, procedures, and protocols
Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist
Clean work area, machines, and equipment
Maintain logs on machines and their repairs
Proficient with computer and internet googling (ex. - Search for parts and anything else that is required for repairing the equipment)
Multi-task and follow through until fully complete
Bi-lingual English/Spanish (Have a lot of the warehouse workers are Hispanic - needs to be able to communicate with them)
Fork-lift certified
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with warehouse machines
Knowledge of mechanical, construction, and electrical systems
Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on shop machines
Ability to lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist
Proficient with computer and internet googling (ex. - Search for parts and anything else that is required for repairing the equipment)
Bi-lingual English/Spanish (Have a lot of the warehouse workers are Hispanic - needs to be able to communicate with them)
