HVAC Program Coordinator
NEOGOV is seeking a HVAC Program Coordinator to support the mission of Roanoke-Chowan Community College. The role involves managing program development, overseeing faculty, handling budgets, and analyzing program data to improve student performance.

Responsibilities
Support the Mission of the College and the departmental mission and goals
Manage and oversee every aspect of program development
Evaluate full-time and part-time faculty members who fall within the program area
Prepare, manage, and oversee the budget for the program area
Provide evidence of retention and recruitment activities, specifically recruitment of at least 5 CE or CU students per semester (fall/spring)
Lead the hiring process for faculty within the program area
Develop and submit a schedule for all course work for each enrollment period
Submit accurate records to the appropriate college entities through the appropriate Dean’s office
Analyze program data to determine gaps in student performance, enrollment, retention, etc. and create and implement improvement plans
Use data to make informed decisions
Lead the Annual Planning process for the respective academic unit
Oversee the evaluation and ordering of textbooks for coursework that falls within the program area
Oversee and coordinate programmatic advising
Actively engage and maintain a program advisory committee
Maintain the currency of the curriculum, along with relevant educational and programmatic technology
Serve as liaison between adjuncts and college staff
Perform other duties assigned by their Dean, Vice-President of Instruction and Student Services, and the College President
Qualification
Required
The program coordinator should hold at minimum a two-year associate's degree in HVAC Technology or a closely related field
Degrees and hours must be from a regionally accredited college or university
Industry experience required
The ability to obtain Universal 608 CFC EPA Certification within the first two years of employment
Preferred
Two years of related work experience in the field and/or teaching experience
