Responsibilities

Perform in-depth technical analyses and trend studies on mobile system enabled by AI technology with cloud and/or local models
Evaluate current mobile system on its performance, power, and user experience in supporting new user experiences with AI
Lead and propose strategic innovations in mobile system architecture through software-hardware codesign for best AI experiences
Work closely with engineering leaders and product managers to transform market demands into product roadmaps and technical solutions
Stay at the forefront of Generative AI and mobile technology trends, and drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture and AI/ML integration
Mentor and guide cross-functional engineering teams in best practices for device system design and implementation
Support business development and customer-facing teams with technical expertise and solution proposals

Required

Strong experience in strategic planning and technology innovation for mobile system
Deep understanding of use cases and user experiences in AI-powered consumer devices
Proven experience in architecting device AI system with a successful track record
Strong experience in leading cross-geo teams in multicultural and multinational environments
Strong soft skills in technology acumen, system abstraction, and technical communication
10+ years experiences in system software, Android stack, software-hardware codesign, hardware acceleration
5+ years experiences in AI/ML-based mobile products and system development

Preferred

MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related majors preferred
Bilingual with English and Mandarin
