Entry LevelDismas House of St. Louis is dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment for its clients. The Part Time Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility, supervising clients in their housekeeping duties, and maintaining adequate supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities
Ensures all rooms, common areas, hallways, and stairwells are cleaned and inspected according to established procedures
Ensures and documents that all cleaning solutions and supplies are in adequate supply, properly stored, available for use and accounted for
Ensures all equipment is maintained in good working order
Ensures stock levels are maintained for all housekeeping consumables
Supervises clients as they perform assigned details
Ensures that all clients participate in scheduled weekly linen exchange
Ensures clients linen is laundered and prepared for distribution
Ensures there is an adequate supply of linens for arriving clients at the front desk
Performs general cleaning through the facility
Ensures that deep cleaning is done as scheduled or required
Consults and advises the compliance manager when cleaning and other services should be contracted
Ensures the disposal of trash from bins and containers are as directed by established procedures
Cleans linens and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and ability equivalent
Physically able to push equipment used in the housekeeping department for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods of time
First Aid / CPR / AED certification completed within probationary period and maintained throughout employment
Preferred
Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided
Valid driver's license and appropriate liability insurance preferred
